Easy & simple vanilla cake with yummy buttercream on top.

ingredients: butter 60 grams, sugar 1/2 + 1/4 cup, vanilla 1 tsp, eggs 2, milk 1/2 + 1/4 cup, flour (all purpose) 1/2 + 1/3 cup, baking soda 1/4 + 1/8 tsp, salt 1/4 tsp
preheat your oven to between 150 to 180C (330 to 350 F) depending your oven.
cut the baking paper to the size of your cake tin and place it in the tin and put aside. sift all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, vanilla & salt) and set aside.
beat the sugar and butter for 5 minutes. while beating scrape it down to the bowl. once creamy, add the eggs and beat well until mix. add the flour and the milk in 3 steps (do not add it all at once) and in each step fold in well. pour the batter into the cake tin. bang down the tin 2-3 times to the table to remove the bubbles. place inside the oven for 45 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
let the cake completely cool before removing it. then using a straight pallet knife remove the sides of the cake from the tin and remove the baking paper as well.
to decorate, cut the cake from the middle and fill it with buttercream; add more buttercream designs on the top of the cake.
