Ingredients:
440 grams pineapple in can
1/2 cup pineapple juice in can
90 grams butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 lightly beaten eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup self raising flour

Preheat the over to 180C (350F)
cut the baking paper to the size of the bottom of the tin and place it inside the cake tin.
spray some oil over the baking paper & spread it evenly using a brush.
cut the pineapple slices into half and place them at the bottom of the tin.
add the 2nd layer of pineapple over the first layer and put it aside.
in a bowl add the butter. and the sugar. beat them until creamy .
add the eggs & vanilla essence and mix well. transfer the batter into a bigger bowl. add the flour. and the pineapple juice. and fold in carefully with a spoon & mix well.
transfer it into the cake tin.
smooth the top & place it in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
once ready let it cool down for 10 minutes.
separate the sides using a pallet knife . place a plate over the cake tin & turn it upside down carefully into the plate. remove the baking paper.
sprinkle sugar on the top of the cake. place a pallet knife over the heat until is hot and place it over the cake to caramelize the sugar on the cake. repeat this until all the surface is caramelized.
